Our history
I have been a shorebird enthusiast since the age of five. I was exposed to the centuries old culture which exists in Barbados and was lucky to have the privilege of learning from the old masters. Their knowledge of the species as handed down through the ages was immense and has been used by ornithologists of late as the basis of valuable scientific research into the species. I therefore wanted to share this experience with as many as possible. And to do it in a sustainable way so as to contribute to the preservation of habitat.
